The Jane Austen Society

This was literary fiction at it's best. The Jane Austen Society by Natalie Jenner is set in 1946 in the English village Chawton, where Jane Austen had spent the last eight years of her life. A disparate group of people gradually discover their shared interest in Jane Austen and set out to create a museum to memorialize her life and works. Their stories are told in the style of a Jane Austen novel, which makes it a charming, sometimes characteristically frustrating, and always an extremely engaging book. At the end of the audiobook there is an interview with the author Kathleen A. Flynn, who wrote The Jane Austen Project, which was really fun to listen to. I hope that author Natalie Jenner continues to write great books likes this one!
